Our Colleagues at the Fextralife Team Introduce a Dedicated Space for Custom Content
The modding landscape is increasingly bigger or as in demand as it is currently. Creators who crafted new mechanics for classics such as Skyrim and Baldur’s Gate III have secured prominent roles in the industry. Complete titles were developed leveraging prior work. Someone even figured out how to make Silksong a little easier.
Certainly, in this time, all things look feasible with a concept, programming abilities, and a little gumption. Hence, it’s understandable that more of the industry is seeking to back that constantly increasing customization network, and that our friends from Fextralife are participating in the initiative. On Tuesday, the information platform revealed it would expand its offerings with the FXMods platform, a “brand-new gaming mod platform created for users who want a speedy, no-cost, and unrestricted customizations to improve their preferred titles.
FXMods assures to be a cost-free service with no download speed throttling, instant access, and linkage with the extensive Fextralife knowledge base, which intends to permit developers to gain more exposure as gamers discover their mods alongside additional resources.
What’s the hope for the initiative? I questioned Fextralife’s Matt Hook, who has been knee-deep in guiding the launch.
Our primary objective is really trying to put the users first,” Hook says. “We want a superb interaction for those downloading mods to be able to download mods quickly and easily, and we want to compensate modification authors and active users with acknowledgment and rewards.”
